Thanks Gary! Absolutely this sounds great! I have popped a bundle of promo materials in the post to you. If you or the town would like any further just let me know! you can also print off bunting from the bottom of this page to decorate the town if you wanted http://www.devontourofbritain.co.uk/schools/

I shall also send some Devon handwaver flags out in the post to you next week. This can then be used by spectators there to wave as the riders whizz through!

Kind regards,

Charmaine Sanders

Sirs,
Stage 5 of the 2001 Tour is due to pass through our town of Moretonhampstead twice on September 15th and being the Information Centre for this part of Dartmoor we would like if possible to receive posters and publicity material. Last year, I was on holiday in Norfolk and the local Information Centres there were festooned with publicity promoting the event.
Please let me know if this would be possible
Thank you
Gary Cox, Manager, Moretonhampstead Information Centre

Obviously a lot of work has gone into making this event a success. Alot of people must have given a lot of time and effort to pull this off. Congratulations to all those concerned. Just one worry though. The Quails could fill the marquee several times over. Is there not time to put up a stage to really appreciate their sound and of course the other bands as well. Is the stage used for the carnival not available, after all we are told there are going to be several thousand people in town. I should imagine the marquee only holds a few hundred. What a shame if the final event doesnt get the support you all deserve.
