Stage 5 of The Tour of Britain starts in Exeter city centre and finishes a whole 112 miles later in the south Devon seaside resort of Exmouth along the Esplanade.

The race route will start in Exeter and travel up and out to the west through Pathfinder Village, Tedburn St Mary and up onto Dartmoor where it will pass through Moretonhampstead, Bovey Tracey and Two Bridges before looping back around and heading east through Postbridge, Bow, Crediton, Rockbeare, and West Hill to then finish along the Esplanade in Exmouth.
